What We've Built
Over two years of building India's dedicated industry body for low-speed electric two-wheelers.
Association Incorporated & Regulatory Engagement
AMLET was formally constituted as India's dedicated industry association for low-speed electric two-wheeler manufacturers. The inaugural General Body Meeting ratified the association charter, inducted founding member companies, and constituted the first Executive Committee. AMLET also issued its first advisory on AIS-156 Phase 1 battery safety compliance and the CMVR exemption framework — establishing its role as the sector's primary source of regulatory guidance.
Pan-India Growth & Associate Members
Membership expanded pan-India with manufacturers from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, West Bengal and additional states joining. AMLET opened its Associate Member category to battery pack fabricators, charger manufacturers and component suppliers — broadening the ecosystem. The association published EPR and BWMP compliance guidance for all member companies.
Digital Verification Registry Launched
AMLET launched its public digital membership verification registry, enabling anyone to confirm a member company's accreditation status in real time using their unique AMLET ID — bringing transparency and trust to the sector.
